The topic of The City.Details forum this year is ‘Local Projects: Development for Communities’. Projects conducted at the neighborhood level – whether they be the creation of a garden, a local museum, or a festival – give local residents a chance to directly participate in improvements made in the interests of their community. As partners in the planning process, locals are best suited to find solutions in harmony with the unique spirit of their neighborhoods. The forum’s discussions will be spread over six days and divided into six key local development topics:
  • Identity & Culture
  • Technology & Services
  • Urban Space
  • Sustainability
  • Community Engagement
  • My district program
Speakers from Russia and abroad will discuss local projects, new trends, and challenges in neighborhood development, as well as the role and place of communities in the city.
